| 内容記述 | 3 歳から6 歳の子どもを持つ米国の親に，子どもの器用なところ，不器用なところについての自由記述を求めた。有効回答数は器用質問で197，不器用質問では304 であった。計量テキスト分析のひとつである共起ネットワーク，対応分析を用いて検討したところ，器用質問と不器用質問とでは異なるネットワークが形成された。また，器用質問において年齢による評価の違いが表れ，運動や動きの軸と評価基準の軸から捉えられていたが，不器用質問からは内面と身体とのつながりを意識した表現が用いられることが多く，「注意の持続」と「対象化」の軸が読み取れた。また性差が認められ，男児が運動に比重を置いた見方であったが，女児の場合は多岐にわたる内容が示された。明らかに文化的な差異のある結果となった。共通符号化（common coding）による解釈を導入することで，共有される表象とそれを支える運動イメージという観点から，親の子どもに対する認識を説明できるのではないかという仮説を提言した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Parents in the United States with children aged 3 to 6 years were asked to provide a free description of their children’s dexterity and clumsiness. There were 197 valid responses to the dexterity questions and 304 to the clumsiness questions. Using co-occurrence network and correspondence analysis, which are quantitative text analyses, we found that the dexterity questions and clumsiness questions formed different networks. In addition, the dexterity questions showed differences in evaluation by age, and were captured from the axes of motor and movement and the axis of evaluation criteria, while the clumsiness questions often used expressions that were conscious of the connection between the inner self and the body, and the axes of“ sustained attention” and“ objectification” were confirmed. Gender differences were also observed, with boys’ views placing more emphasis on motor, while girls’views showed a wide range of content. The results clearly showed cultural differences. We proposed the hypothesis that by introducing an interpretation based on common coding, it may be possible to explain parents’ perceptions of their children in terms of shared representations and the motor images that support them. | |||||
