There were 197 valid responses to the dexterity questions and 304 to the clumsiness questions. Using co-occurrence network and correspondence analysis, which are quantitative text analyses, we found that the dexterity questions and clumsiness questions formed different networks. In addition, the dexterity questions showed differences in evaluation by age, and were captured from the axes of motor and movement and the axis of evaluation criteria, while the clumsiness questions often used expressions that were conscious of the connection between the inner self and the body, and the axes of“ sustained attention” and“ objectification” were confirmed. Gender differences were also observed, with boys’ views placing more emphasis on motor, while girls’views showed a wide range of content. The results clearly showed cultural differences.
