| 内容記述 | Two case studies were conducted by the authors, the first to determine and evaluate the relationship between a test administered to measure academic ability and actual academic results measured by GPA and credits earned in the first term at university, and the second to relate the findings of study one with the various paths to gain university admission. Although Study I results show a positive statistical correlation between academic ability scores and GPA, we conclude that academic ability scores alone cannot be used to predict academic failure or achievement.This suggests that academic success and failure involve factors other than ability. The results of Study II show that our department’s dropouts are concentrated but not limited to students who matriculate via Admission Office (AO) interview testing and designated school interview test. | |||||||||||||
