However, some university students have not acquired the proper strategies to make use of them. They tend to ignore the part of speech and only check the first meaning. Therefore, strategy trainings are required for their effective use. At universities, though, there is not enough time spent on teaching students dictionary strategies during class hours. This present study attempts to clarify the effectiveness of out-of-class online dictionary reference trainings. For this purpose,students were assigned out-of-class online tasks to look up given words and choose the most appropriate meaning in the context, using the specific online dictionary. They were immediately provided with the correct meanings and scores using the auto-grading function of Google Forms. The results showed that out-of-class training was effective for students with higher English proficiency, also in encouraging all levels of students to check the additional meanings of the word.}, pages = {335--346}, title = {オンライン辞書検索トレーニングが語義選出の正確さに与える効果―非英語専攻大学生を対象としたパイロットスタディ―}, volume = {32}, year = {2022}, yomi = {フジタ, エリコ} }
